BGU Donation Feedback: BLGC W'houghton

The £200 grant we received through Bolton Green Umbrella meant that we could buy tools, seeds and planters for a new gardening project. Our Junior Members at our Westhoughton youth club set up a green group and learned how to plant, grow and care for plants, which in turn helped them improve their emotional wellbeing. We made a wall display too to show off what we had learned about gardening and wellbeing. Through the project we made new contacts with other environmental groups and Members took part in litter picking to help clean up local areas. Thank you for supporting our charity.
